This coffee is roasted to a dark level and preserves a rich, full-bodied cup with notes of brown sugar, cocoa, and caramel.
Java Estate Kayumas is sourced from one of the government run coffee estates established by the Dutch in the 18th century. The estate has 1500 acres of coffee cultivated in East Java Province on the island of Java, Indonesia. The estate has its own wet-mill operation where cherry is quickly depulped, fermented, washed and then dried. Unlike most Indonesian processing (wet-hulling), this fully washed coffee has a cleaner, more balanced profile with a full body.
