This coffee is a dark roast and preserves a rich, full-bodied cup with notes of semi-sweet chocolate. A perfect pair for an evening dessert and excellent as the first cup of the day.
The title "Bugisu" belongs to the tribe of the northwestern districts of Mt. Elgon, whose coffee is considered the best in Uganda. Formed in 1954, the Bugisu Cooperative Union united the people and empowered the region's economy. Now, Kawacom invests in this area, known as the Sipi Falls Coffee Project, by buying coffee from smallholder farmers and maintaining strict standards for freshness and quality.
